when i was younger i watched on the simpsons as "grandpa" put a marshmello in his hot chocolate, and it swelled to fill the cup. i spent the whole of the next week getting together HC powder and a marshmello for it NOT TO WORK! i was furious and threw a stroppy! (i was 6)

I once tried roasting a marshmallow over the stove.

It was an electric stove no less.
