We had a work party today, and one of the girls brought in "Oreo balls". They are absolutely amazing. I came home and made some for my family party tomorrow. You take one package of oreos, put them in a food processor until they are lightly crushed. Add in one regular size package(square) of cream cheese-small blocks at a time. Mix in processor until all the cream cheese is mixed well.
Put the mixture into the fridge and allow time to cool well.
Once cool, make small to medium sized balls out of the mixture(recommend about the size of a large gum ball) and place on wax paper.
Melt chocolate, you can use dark, milk, white-whatever you are in the mood for. Dip the cookie balls in the chocolate to completely coat. Place back on the wax paper. Once all cookie balls are coated with chocolate, put into the fridge or freezer to solidify chocolate.
Enjoy.
They also make excellent cake pops, and can be decorated for any season.
