So I have a classical so I've spent most of my years playing sitting down, but I intend to get an electric around Xmas time, so I've started using the [odd though it is] strap to play standing up to get a feel for what standing up playing is like. Only been doing this for a week or so, getting used to stretching my wrist a bit more to bar and allowances like that.

However, some of my chords have a sort of rattling sound behind them, like a string is tapping against something, do I just need to keep getting better at stretching my wrist to play chords more clearly?

Press harder. I's surprised because classical is so much harder.
