I can play the recorder :geek:
Hey, no sarcasm! I'm willing to dish out some money to buy myself a new recorder because it's actually a really lovely instrument. I've always wanted to play the flute. I play the horn, but I don't think I'm too good at brass instruments, and I play piano but I've gotten to the stage where I can't improve because I actually can't reach the notes (shame!), so a new instrument would be nice. |

| Go to your nearest specialist music shop and try out the flutes to see which you prefer. Then check on the internet to see how much that particular flute is and either buy it off the net or tell the shop how much you found it for and ask if they can meet the price. I did this when I brought my new clarinet and got quite a lot of the price. |

| haha thats stupid. just becuase you play an instrument doesnt make you a geek. i mean im at college studying music, and im a really good standard on 3 instruments, but that doesnt mean im a typical geek! for a good flute thats a good price but isnt amazing, but plays with a nice tone, if i where you i'd go for a yamaha. thats what most people start on. don't go for a buffet flute though! |

| I can't believe you gave up your music for other people. I could never even imagine being pushed to that point. I think you should visit a music store. Or talk to your old band teacher or something. |
