Hey everyone

I need to start thinking about college... Fuck...

What schools have strong performing arts programs?

My major is musical theatre.

If you know anyone who is looking for advice on their audition pieces for any BFA or even MFA programs, there's a great thing that a theater company in New York City is running called Audition Bootcamp or something.

Apparently they are having all sorts of sessions with professionals (like casting directors, working actors, directors, agents, etc) in the business, some seminars, and even one on one time with people who can give you tips and advice on the pieces you've chosen and what place might be best for you.

I think those types of things are essential, and priceless.  Like Mastercard.  :-)

They give some pretty detailed information on their website:

Good luck with it all!

The Boston Conservatory has one of the best musical theatre programs in the country.

I go to school there, I'm a music student. We have music, dance and musical theater departments.

The school is known for the MT program, apparantly its top notch. We have AMAZING teachers.
