I know it is stupid, but doing things like picturing the people watching in their underwear really can relax you if you are feeling stressed. Or get a friend there to watch you play. Someone that you trust and can make you feel more confident. |

hey, im a drummer too. i used to get nervous, but what i do is i stare at a blank part on a wall and concentrate on that, and the song i am playing turns out great, as for the sweating, dont worry about it, do what i said and you wont be nervous so you wont sweat ;) |

| You must be doing something wrong, every drummer I know is an egomaniac. Really, it never really goes away, I have been playing for years and in front of some large crowds. I still get stage fright to the point that i vomit. You have to channel the nervousness. make it work for you and not the reverse. |

| It's probably because you are a beginner. Keep practising and you'll get better. Your confidence should increase once you are more experienced. |
