There is hardly any such thing as a disorder.

Everything is almost absolutely normal you know.

Take bulimia for example: People just throw up after eating because they feel fat, when they are no where near fat, and then claim that they keep seeing themselves as fat, which they hardly do. They're attention-seeking, most of them people.
Same with anorexia.

Same with any other "disorder".

If you want to sleep properly or eat properly or whatever shit, then just do it. No need to throw up or pretend and then later call it a disorder.

It's just stupid.

Now, for those people who actually are really kuku in the head, well yeah, there's something wrong with them, but almost 30% of you all are claiming to have a disorder, as I see on Youtube, Golivewire and other sites.

Rant ended.

Did I ever say it was funny? Ill, is when you're dying from pneumonia or you're having a REALLY bad flu, or you have broken a limb.
Thinking you are fat, is not ill.

Yes it is. If it's an eating disorder then you ARE ill.

of unsound physical or mental health; unwell; sick

http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/ill

You realise people die from eating disorders all the time?

MORTALITY RATES

   * Eating disorders have the highest mortality rate of any mental illness
   * A study by the National Association of Anorexia Nervosa and Associated Disorders reported that 5 - 10% of anorexics die within 10 years after contracting the disease; 18-20% of anorexics will be dead after 20 years and only 30 - 40% ever fully recover
   * The mortality rate associated with anorexia nervosa is 12 times higher than the death rate of ALL causes of death for females 15 - 24 years old.
   * 20% of people suffering from anorexia will prematurely die from complications related to their eating disorder, including suicide and heart problems

You, quite obviously, don't know anything about eating disorders. Just because you and I can see that they're not fat doesn't mean to say that they see the same thing. That's why it's a disorder. They physically see themselves different (in some cases, quite a lot). How can it be attention seeking if they don't even realise they're ill? If they do everything they can to hide it?

If you want to sleep properly or eat properly or whatever shit, then just do it. No need to throw up or pretend and then later call it a disorder.

You're kinda dumb. If people could just do it then they would. You think people intentionally kill themselves (through eating disorders or suicide, whatever) just for attention? You honestly think someone would just not bother sleeping and suffer the consequences of bad sleeping so they can call it a disorder? Your logic makes no sense!

Now, for those people who actually are really kuku in the head, well yeah, there's something wrong with them, but almost 30% of you all are claiming to have a disorder, as I see on Youtube, Golivewire and other sites.

Sure, people shouldn't self-diagnose. It can lead to shitty things. But don't generalise so much!

Everyone has control over themselves you know. You can make yourself fat thin whatever, but it's not going to help by calling it a freaking disorder.

wtf?! If you have an eating disorder then you have lost control. It's NOT as easy as saying "fuck, i really am too skiny now i need to eat something." When it becomes a disorder then you have no idea how much emotional turmoil is behind every bite you take. Same with bulimia... to eat something and keep it in. It shows you've lost control when you physically can't eat without throwing up. Do you understand at all how fucked up you can get emotionally through all of that? Go do some research before making such absurd claims, yeah?

You obviously don't have a clue do you? I became very ill last year with an eating disorder and I didn't even realise. It isn't attention seeking. I am tired of people thinking any mental illness isn't to be taken seriously. How many more people have to die to make others realise that it IS serious?

Well, that's the point really. It's only serious if you make it so.

Everyone has control over themselves you know. You can make yourself fat thin whatever, but it's not going to help by calling it a freaking disorder.

Other than that, some people may have an actual serious problem, it might be you, but usually no, they don't.

How is it? Are you saying that I didn't feel hungry cause I was telling myself that just to be thin? No. I wasn't. I suddenly just wasn't hungry so I stopped eating. The smell of food made me feel like vomiting. I was thin, weak and dizzy constantly. I thought it was normal, I thought I was just a little ill and it would soon pass. The only time I thought about it was when people starting telling me to eat and forcing me to. I had to force myself to eat. I didn't force myself to stop though.

Mental disorders are actually very common. So they ARE serious. And by saying they are not you are sounding very ignorant.

Funny that most complaints come from America, the "amazing land of opportunity".

Here, in my class, older or younger classes, there is maybe 1 in 40 that have a "disorder".

1 in 40 who OPENLY have one. Disorders are touchy subjects. No one wants to admit something is wrong, especially when there really IS something wrong.

And besides, the country your from doesn't depend on if you have a disorder. Just cause someone has a great life doesn't mean they will never get ill or have problems.

I still seem to HEAR more from America, even if they don't say they have the disorder. Yeah yeah, it's a big country, but still, most of this propaganda is just plain, propaganda.

  Well, this ain't leading nowhere...

Yes, big country and perhaps they are more open about it than other countries? Does it make them wrong to want help?

I guess to you it does cause all they want is attention, no one cares if they are actually ill. Lets just point the finger and laugh cause it's the easy solution, right?

Thinking you are fat, is not ill.

It IS an illness actually, and is not simply thinking you are fat. Learn something about it before assuming all these things.

 You are ignorant.

They expect to be seen all the time by everyone, then they just get so bored/fed up that they eventually end up dying because they no longer know how to live life.

That doesn't make sense. What do you mean they die because they no longer know how to live?
If they die because they purged out their insides, then that's not them giving up.

I'm sorry but you really don't know what you're talking about, and obviously you know someone or have seen someone attention seeking using some sort of disorder and now you are relating that to everyone who has a disorder. You are wrong in saying all of this, and nearly every doctor/psychiatrist in the world will disagree with you.

That's right, I don't know. That's because my life is nice and busy, I don't even have TIME to go worrying if I have black patches under my eyes because I'm tired, or if I weigh 2 more kilos than I'm supposed to.
