If so, do you think dreams are literal? Such as if you love someone in your dream, you love them in real life?
Or symbolical, such as if you dream about fishing it means you're confronting and bringing your repressed emotions to the surface etc?

i believe dreams have meanings but not in a literal sense. dreams have symbolic meanings that foretell you whats going on in your subconcious mind.

No.

Dreams themselves do not have meanings, however they are derived from real-life situations that have meanings.

Dreams are created from your thoughts muddled together to create some kind of storyline. Have you never had a dream about school or work or family? It's all relative and any added bits that you feel don't relate to you come from your subconscious feelings.

I believe that dreams are just about something you have recently thought / talked about or done.
And say you dreamed about your friends house, then about another person, it is because that's how your thoughts would go, your friends house reminds you of that certain person.

Dreams are just your unconscious mind mixing up things you already know and spitting it out back at you in an unrecognizable, potentially random, fashion.

In short? Sure, some do, but they aren't about to predict the future for you.
