Hi Sarah Posted at 9:03 am on Jan. 12, 2009
Yeah so I've been on holidays for 5 weeks now, and I have 3 left.

I've been basically either not sleeping for days upon days, sleeping straight through the day and awake all night or just sleeping day and night away.

How do I get back into the sleeping before 2am waking up before 12pm?

I've tried sleeping pills/alcohol at night to put me to sleep but I end up sleeping all through the day too.

its all to do with your mindset i think. I can put a time in my head and wake up at that exact time but for others it might not be that easy.

It's virtually impossible to do it in one go so just do it gradually. Go to bed a little bit earlier every night and give yourself something to get up for at an earlier time in the morning. ;)

Dont take naps, force yourself to get up at a certain time.

Have someone wake you up, and keep you up.

Thats what I do.
If someone wakes me up and then leaves, I just fall back asleep.
If they wake me up and stay with me and keep me up, Im good.
:D

Half a cup of Nyquil for three straight days about 30 minutes before you WANT to fall asleep.

Wake up at the same time every day, no matter what. I'd worry about the falling asleep part after you get accustomed to waking up at the same time. A good alarm clock will help.
