i think in the future cars will be robotic, like drive themselves and we will just sit. or something like autopilot with built in gps. hopefully they will be powered by water or electricity, anythings better than oil. but what is the point of driving something like that?

Hydrogen fuel cells?

I would hate that so much. Other than what they run on I would lose my love for driving completely.

That's going to suck.. It means I have to do the speed limit..

Well, if everything is completely automated and synced correctly, the speed limit should be pretty fast...

They could raise the speed limit though, at least out in the country or on the motorways, because the cars would presumably communicate with one another as to where they are. On top of that, you'd know exactly when to leave to arrive at a certain time. It'd be so awesome :P

Where will be oil to drive cars?
amanitta Posted at 2:06 pm on July 21, 2008
yes, it should be...that's the good life !
woodbridgeguy1 Posted at 2:06 pm on July 21, 2008
I hope cars don't run on water, otherwise there would be none left to drink. As per self driving, the technology is there to do that but that would just take all the fun out of the driving. Plus, if you're too busy to drive odds are you're rich enough to afford a driver. Hopefully the cars of tomorrow will be powered by either hydrogen or electricity (produced by renewable sources).

Maxxie Posted at 2:03 pm on July 21, 2008
