That cells commit suicide?

An example would be when you get sun burned.  When you peel, those are all cells that have terminated themselves.

Why?  Because they don't want to turn into a cancer.

So think of your cells of your skin as potential suicide bombers.

Welcome to Biology.

They didn't talk about this in my high school biology.  Im learning a whole bunch in college anatomy and such.  I just found this interesting.  And yes, thats the name of it.  I couldn't remember it.  And just didn't google it.

Lulz...when they have divided a certain number of times, they let their own lysosomes bubbles burst open and digest them...crazy lil fuckers.

I knew this and its very interesting.  One thing I didn't pick up on is where do they lysosomes go to?  Wouldn't a white blood cell just eat it up?  Or will another cell eat it up?
