the artic fox is a carnivore that hunts mostly at night but is also a scavenger. its coat turns white during winter for camoflauge purposes and grows thicker to insulate its body. they give birth mostly around winter and raise their young till about a year and a half. in that time the mothers teach them to hunt and camoflauge and how to be safe aginst predators. they have large ears which means really good hearing . for hunting mostly.    They will battle for the right to mate but are otherwise lone creatures. They are of the wolf family but are smaller and more like a desert wolf. They are awesome.
