What do you think? Do you think we'll ever, efficiently, be able to travel between planets, or perhaps live on them?

Exoplanets are cool. Some of them are earthlike. Maybe we aren't alone...

Maybe in thousands of years. We still haven't reached the outskirts of our own solar system. Furthermore we just know these planets look like Earth... Nothing else.

I would say hundreds....
Maybe our kid's  children will be able to live on the  moon....after that...their children on the moon will have kids who  will be able to live  on other planets.

Moon kids will have a lot less of a chance of living on other planets than we will. Earth-born children would be able to innately tolerate 5 times as much gravitational pull as Moon-born children.

I don't fancy being part of a colonisation effort. I dread to think what nasties I'd have to deal with, and that's before we get above the rigors of a completely alien setting, and possibly single cell life forms.

I want it happen with our life time period.

HijackTheBride Posted at 6:31 am on June 16, 2008

Niddan Posted at 6:31 am on June 16, 2008
