Not bash. Having physio on weekdays had brought my attention after hearing this womens story. She had told me that she works at a place with people who suffer from Alzheimer's Disease. She had told me the differences of that and of dementia comparing the issues of the two. From what I was told, Alzheimer's isn't about forgetting about it all. Yet, being stuck in a moment thinking you are still living in that event. She had told me that in order to interact with the person you needed to interact on what they were believing. She told me that they had invented a pill that might be able to reverse the disease itself. As in for dementia, The person forgets it all. They have no memory that they were stuck in, thinking they are still in it.. It's just gone.. (If I'm correct) Any views I had missed?

I thought dementia was still living in the moment, while Alzheimer's is the opposite. All 3 previous replies displayed.
