I HATE my mother's fucking dog. For the most part, its a well trained dog. But not completely.

The damn thing is a BEGGER from Hell. It sits there and stares at you, licking its lips and drooling. If you're not careful, it'll take the food right off your plate. Then you know what my mom does? REWARDS the damn thing for begging by giving it the food!

ARGH! I have told my mom about this, and she says "keep your mouth shut until you get a dog." First of all, she won't let me get a dog. Secondly, I HAD a dog. Usually, people don't start training their dogs until it is about 6 months old. My dog was THREE months old, and I had already trained it to sit, stay, shake, come, etc. And still, my mom makes it out to be hard to train a dog, and says I can't do it (when I already have).

Now listen to this.... I think its pretty much agreed that cats are harder to train than dogs. I've trained my cat to do multiple things, such as sit, sit pretty, come when called, speak on command, give kisses, etc. Still, my mom says that I don't know how to train animals. WELL AT LEAST MY PET COMES WHEN I CALL IT! It never takes more than 30 seconds for my cat to come, no matter how far away she is. SHE COMES RUNNING! And most the time I don't even really reward her for it, I just simply expect it of her. WELL, my mother's dog runs off across the road and down the street (where it is NOT allowed to go) and no matter how much we call it, it won't come until she's good and ready. THEN, MY MOTHER GIVES IT A DAMN TREAT FOR TAKING ITS SORRY ASS TIME!

ARGH!!!!!!!! The dog pisses me off, but even more so, my mother.

HELP??? What do I do?

Thanks.

Mm, I like your mom's dog.
Your mother, not so much.
Since you're so good at training animals...
Why not train you're mum's dog to act out even more?

Heeeeeeeeeey!
This is a good idea!!!

The dog is not the problem; your mother is.
Why don't you try training her dog maybe when she's not around then.

Dogs pwn.

You can't really do much about the dog, considering it's your mother's dog and not yours. Just don't give into the begging, and while it might not help too much, over time, the dog will most likely stop begging you for food, and will choose just to beg your mother. If your mother gets too irritated, she'll scold the dog or stop giving it food when it begs and the dog will over time give up on begging. If she's perfectly fine with giving her food to a dog just to encourage annoyance that she'll have to suffer from, well, more power to her.

does it eat its own poo?

do you?

MiNNiCK Posted at 9:11 am on Sep. 28, 2008
There isn't anything you can do. It's her dog, and it's going to stay acting that way since she's raised it as such.
