I'm not sure if often wondered that myself. I think it might be because its like the toughest area of skin and they dont exactly sunbathe their palms and soles either do they. |

| Haha never heard that one about the spray paint. Probably because the skin is thicker there, and melanin which colours the skin is usually darker on thinner skin. Rough areas like elbows, soles of feet, palms, knees, etc have thicker skin therefore less melanin. |
