Are there any immigrants on livewire?

If you are, what do you consider yourself to be???

Like, I was born in England and moved to Australia when I was 13 (5 years ago),

And now I don't know if I'm English or Aussie...

I guess English, just to be different, haha

It's confusing haha

Anyone else in the same boat?

Probably not...

Do you still have an English accent?

My Mum's best mate moved to Aus when she was like, 20, and she still considers herself English. Obviously she's got an Australian passport, and a full on aussie accent, but hey. Whatever.

No not really, =-( hehe

I still say p-a-st, not p-ar-st and things like that,

otherwise I have a pretty full on Aussie accent now. I liked my Brummy one better. (Don't ask why, I know I shouldn't, haha)

Yeah! Pretty similar actually! I was born in Hong Kong (when it was still british) and moved to Sydney when I was 11.

You're right. Differences can be made the most of. I think it's a good thing too!
