So if I accidentally punch or roundhouse kick a pregnant lady, killing the fetus, I'm gonna be charged for murder? That's not fair lol.

With abortion it is a mother's choice whether to remove the fetus or not, but with the double murder scenario, it would most likely be a woman who desired to carry her child to full term.
