This just got emailed to me:

Due to the length of time that your account has remained in an overdraft situation, it will now be reported to ChexSystems and TeleCheck.  This can have long-term negative consequences on your credit history.  Remember, your credit history will follow you throughout your life and can affect everything from the size of the loan you qualify for to the interest rates you receive.

Your current overdraft amount is $-376.41.

WOOT!  Credit card number 3 maxed out.

Anyone who wants to donate to the charity of me, feel free.

I'm so poor it's not even funny.

Well how many credit cards do you have?

Can't you pay them a little bit at a time? You can call them up and work out a payment plan with them. Just pay a few here and there. That way it won't look so bad on your credit report.

Think about getting a student loan, perhaps, maybe a line of credit.

With her lack of a credit rating?

  FP

People can still get loans with a thin file credit.

Thin and bad are completely different.

He didn't say bad. He said lack of a credit rating.

It's already been made clear that she'ss got bad credit, if companys are listing collections on her credit report.

Oh honey, that's not so bad.  Thanks mostly to medical debts and my mother pissing around under my name, I'm in nearly $20,000 last I checked.  Sadly, that's after I payed off several thousand.

After you get on your feet, you'll have that payed off in no time.

Really??   Ok I feel bad now.  I'll stop complaining.

I just feel so stupid because it was all spent on something stupid.  And once I start school again it's gonna take another big hit....like as in $10,000.

It happens.  If you can afford small monthly payments,  a credit counselor should be able to help you out.  There's always a way out if you start digging soon enough.

At the current rate I'm going, I'll probably have mine payed off in about 5 years.  It's iffy what with school and the baby, but that's the plan.  If you aren't able to pay yours off yet, it will likely be easier after school.

RainBowBow Posted at 12:43 am on July 26, 2008
wow you better pay it off lol

Luckily my parents are able to get loans in their name, so I have some help with college but Im still dishing out about $10000 a year on it.

I'm meeting with some financial guy next week to see what I can do here....

pcb surfer Posted at 8:00 pm on July 25, 2008
Good luck getting approved for a student loan almost everyone needs a cosigner. I work for Sallie Mae doing private student loans. Fyi most student loans don't build credit till after you've graduated..

How do you manage? I own a condo, and have huge bills to pay. I'm still not in debt.

 Stop being irresponsible.

 FP

I'm trying to rebuild my life after 3 years of drug addicition.  It takes a toll on your bank account.

Call that irresponsible if thats how you see it.  whatever.

And I have school tuition and rent to pay too, thanks.

Ditto. I just recovered from a severe cocaine addiction. You?
