I really get annoyed by people who are so frightened of the legal system, it makes me fucking sick.

Do you guys not realize how many illegal things MOST people do on the DAILY? Sorry to say it, but most of the time, nothing is done, and yes it is something to be brought up.

But when a young girl/boy is having sex with an older guy, sorry to say it but nothing is done most of the time unless parents get upset.

Period.

So stop fucking talking about "ILLEGAL" shit cause most of you drink even though you aren't 21, or smoke pot, or forget your license at home and still drive. I mean come the fuck on fuckers.

(For you fucks who say "I don't do anything illegal", that is very cool. Continue on with your miserable lives, cause I don't give a shit.)

Just because total law enforcement doesn't exist, doesn't mean there isn't a risk and potential consequence from constantly breaking the law.

As for the moral side of it, I agree with you. Morality in law is largely abstract. I mean, why 21 for being able to drink? Why not 20? Is it suddenly morally ok once you become 21? And not a day before? etc.

Like I said, I agree with you. Of course IT SHOULD BE A SUGGESTION. But don't get on the OP's nuts for doing something illegal, it happens all the time. The cops just don't have enough time to pick up kids having sex young, and shit so this is bull.

It is ridiculous, really. I mean you can give your life to the Military at 18, which is a huge life decision, but of course you can't possibly be mature enough to drink? WHAT THE FUCK?

I agree with both your main points there. Particularly your first. Like "I suggest X because of X,Y, and Z". But more often than not, what will happen is "DNT DO IT ITS ILLEGAL!!!" etc. Furthermore, simply saying "you could do X,Y or Z. The benefits of each are..." is perhaps even better than suggestions.

It's funny, isn't it? Here:
15 - It's legal to watch violent movies/play violent games
16 - Legal to have sex/drive
17 - Legal to join the military
18 - Legal to drink/be affiliated with pornography/become an adult legally

It doesn't break down logically. I know what you mean.

You're right, a lot of illeagle things are done and not prosecuted, and that's ok. But your examples are good ones of different types of illeagle activity.
The first ones you note are basically victimless, except for underage drinking, which is prosecuted.

The laws about underage sex is to protect the young. Maybe they're outdated, but it's still different.

Also, when an adult guy has sex with a minor female and is prosecuted, he can be sent to jail and labeled for life. While I don't have any problem with consensual sex between two people of "similar" age, it can be a real risk for a guy.

How explain to me how the fuck it is different?

It is the same as a Sin is a SIN. Period.

breaking the law, is BREAKING THE LAW. Period.

So if you dare try to preach about how something is illegal, you better make sure your hands are clean enough to open your mouth.

Whenever I tell them to be careful about the sex with a minor, it's because they have to be careful if their parents find out. Not that I'm too keen on underage sex (like 15 and lower) but I know it happens. Just telling them to be careful is all.

I see nothing wrong with telling them to be careful. I do see something wrong with fucks who are like "OMG that is illegal! He is going to jail." I want to puke when ever people say this gay shit.
