And I agree with VN.  I've never had Eucharist on my knees.  The church is like everyplace else:  ya gotta get in line.  I've seen them do it that way in some French films I've seen though.

He's being sarcastic, mocking the  hypocracy of the Catholic church in opposing homosexuality, yet tacitly condoning the molestation of boy by priests.

"accept the body of a man into your mouth" refers to the oral sex the priests forced the boys to perform.

Shouldn't it bother you too, Starry? this is a basic story and the basis for a key ritual in your faith. I don't understand why only Catholics would do it.
well Christians that are not catholic don't believe its actually the body just a symbol

and many churches that are not catholic don't use actual wine

I find it funny where they draw lines
 So fucking goofy

I think its odd that Stephen says he is catholic yet he made that statement

The Lutheran church I attended always used real wine. And up to about 3 years ago, they used real sweet honey bread. Then they changed to the Styrofoam-like wafers.

Yeah really... I'm pretty sure that's fairly standard of Catholic churches as well.

It's offensive, but idiots will be idiots on both sides of the fence of course.

They always will be. But I was raised in the Lutheran church. Lol
