Behavioral analysis suggests that there are certain things the serial killers we have record of in America share certian characteristics. There is, of course the well-known (though controversial) MacDonald Triad, also know as the triad of sociopathy, which is believed by some to be an indication of violent tendacies. The tirad consists of bedwetting past the age of five, obsession with fire-setting, and cruelty to animals.

So what do you think? Are these things inherent in a person or are they due to condition and upbringing?

See, I tend to agree with you and lean a bit more to conditions (or conditioning) if I have to choose one.

Its obviously both. Some are natural born killers. Some are reborn into killers through trauma.
