I had I believe 2 opportunities to see him. Both of which I didn't go because I didn't want to drive to Dallas from Austin. (4 hour drive) He was sick and had heart failure the 2nd and last visit my mother went on. She talked to him for a while even in his condition, she left, got home and found out he had passed away. I dunno why I thought about this, but it pisses me off I didn't see him before he passed. Mother effer.

But don't feel guilty, I don't really understand why you should. You hadn't been terrible to him before, had you? You had a good reason not to see him, and there must be a good reason why you did not see him. Don't feel like you did anything wrong.
