and am now 136.

i decided to go on a diet, a strict detox, of nothing but saltine crackers and water, and maybe the occassional diet coke.

five saltines for breakfast.
five saltines for lunch.
five for dinner.
and five after dinner.

this is a grand total of 210 calories.

now, exactly how long would it take for me to lose 30 pounds?

it's the halo effect. if you see a thin person, they're automatically better, faster, stronger, smarter than the person who's EXACTLY LIKE THEM but fat.

it's the way society works, and if i have goals i want to reach them. my boyfriend has a thing for thin girls. i have to stay thin, or get thin, for him. my friends are all on diets. they're getting smaller. if i stay the same, I'LL be the chubby one instead of them.

it's all one big competition. if i'm the thinnest, i'll be the happiest. and everyone will win.


I didn't hear one thing about yourself in there. You're doing this for everyone else, and so what if they don't like your weight? Who are they? Fuck them. If they don't appreciate you for who you are, then you don't need them.

But you've got to be happy with yourself before you can even realize that.

lol you do know you will eventually crash. That's why its called a crash diet. Meaning you will gain all that back when you stop eating saltine crackers,  because you and I both know you can't live off crackers.

That's incredibly stupid. Saltines aren't going to do you any good and diet soda is horrible for you. Just eat smaller portions, cut out soda and junk food and get plenty of exercise. 30lbs is a lot to lose, don't expect immediate results.

well one pound is equivalent to 2,000 kcals.and your body needs a certain amount to even funtion. like your brain needs so many grams of carbs to maintain it's function.
