I went on a couple of sites to figure out my BMI(Body Mass Index).
I am 5 ft 10 in and I weigh 120lbs. According to the National Institute of Health and Department of Health and HUman Services.
I don't get it. I don't starve myself and I don't binge/purge at all. I don't excerise either, except for walking around campus. I inherited a high metabolism.
I know this may not seem like a big deal, but I am worried about how will this affect my health.
I was just wondering if there are other eating disorders out there and I have not heard about them?

You've just got a fast metabolism. Heck, i'm 5'10 and 125 lbs. Then again, i'm a guy. Don't know if that means anything, though...

P.S. the thyroid (lump on your neck) produces the hormones that make your metabolism work. Its also kind of important because it absorbs iodine.

If it's genetic, you really can't do anything about it

It sounds to me like you have a case of Hyperthyroidism, my sister had it and we've been seeing more of it in the field. The problem is that people end up eating whatever they want and instead of gaining weight they just end up with High cholesterol and heart disease. The best thing to do is get evaluated by a doctor and be as healthy as possible.

as far as eating disorders, my girlfriend has one, weve been dating for 5 years. No matter what anyone tells a person with an eating disorder, it won't fix it. We do group therapy, she does therapy on her own and lots of SSRI's and MAOI's to help her. Unfortunately eating disorders come from a much deeper than "I'm ugly" or "I'm fat"

disorders: Anorexia Nervosa, Compulsive Over eating, Bulemia Nervosa, and my personal favorite --  Failure to Thrive

There's nothing wrong with being skinny or fat.

The problem with anything is when it's too extreme. If you think you're fine, and you don't have any eating disorders, you're probably just naturally skinny.

If you're worried about your weight, trying picking up a workout routine. Maybe some running and lightweights to build up a little mass in muscles.

Absynthia Posted at 5:37 am on Nov. 19, 2008
truely it could just be your metabolism..or, if you work out or do any type of physical activity, you may not be consuming has many or more calories as you are burning
