| God, thats a shame to see, try and talk to her but if she doesn't agree with you and refuses to listen, then tell somebody else about her to give her some help. Risk having an argument with her rather to risk having to lose her for good, Nobody deserves that, try and talk to her a best friend chat. |

Wow she is like nearly as skinny as my friend who was hospitalized. You can't do much, except talk to adults, like her parents. Other than that, if she doesn't want help you can't force it on her. It's good you're trying to be a good friend, but there isn't much you can do for someone who refuses help. Although if she is really bad (pictures don't really say much) then you can talk to the hospital or doctors etc.
we're both adults, 20, and her parents are out of the picture. maybe if I get all her friends together though we could do some sort of intervention |

at this point, it would be a really good idea to seek professional help for her. you said it best yourself, when you go through these stages, other people's remarks regarding your looks are strictly not welcomed and are usually taken in a backwards manner. please get her some help. anorexia is so damaging, and so tragic. |

Be supportive and encourage her to be healthier. |

| If she only lost 15 pounds, then she was tiny to begin with. There is no good way to bring this up. You need to just be blunt, swift, and to the point. Don't cut around the bush. You need to let her see that you know what's going on, but you're here to help. You need to let her understand that you're not going anywhere until she's better. You can't stand by and watch her kill herself. |
