I have been using it since 2005, but really just to share my artwork, get some help on some, and just to view other people's stuff. Though lately, I started using it for a number of things, such as using it to find t-shirt templates and PS brushes. If you use deviantart, what do you use and how do you use it? I'm rather curious...

It's got a rather broad selection of different types of art, from computer animation, to costumes, to sculpting, to interrior design, to the traditional arts (paint, draw, etc).
