What age would you let your children have their own computer in their bedrooms where you could no longer supervise what sites they see etc?

It has little to do with porn, that's some of the least of my worries, but a generalized "internet/computer addiction." If he wants a computer in his room, he can save up and buy one. If I've bought the computer, it stays in a public area until he's at least 17 or so, so he can't stay up until 2 or 3 am on school nights playing Counter Strike or World of Warcraft. I've never done anything that would really violate my parents' trust or constitute taking my computer away, so if I can trust my kid to do the same then I wouldn't mind giving it a try around 12-14.
