There are 4 kids in my family and my parents invest in all of us equally. They have enough money to do so. They expect all of us to be successful.

Makes sense, but no. I am the oldest, and they are not on top of me about academics at all. I do the best out of my siblings at school, though. They spend more time with my sister and even more time with my brother because they need help. It's always been that way.

They don't have a preference. They didn't invest in either of us. Although I've succeeded much more than my younger sister has.

If I was to be a parent, I'd figure out my finances before I had more kids, to make sure I could invest equally in them.

I honestly think that is true, i just again maybe the youngest.. My parents spoiled me when i was little but now that i am older they are always telling me to do stuff and I am the youngest and I have to do everything in the household. I cook, clean, and get groceries.. my parents don't let any of my siblings do as much as me at any point in their life, yet I have to do it.. it's kinda bull shit. Now that I currently do not have a car they don't want to take me to work, take me out car shopping or anything.... it's ridiculous, but when my brothers all had jobs and such that they had and i never asked for anything back then.. but now i need to do this and they don't want to. Even when they were teaching me how to drive, they never wanted to do it.. and my first permit expried until i could get a new one and they didn't bother to take me out to get a new one until it was ABSOLUTELY necessary when college started and such and i NEEDED to be able to drive.. which i absolute bull

Yes. My two older sisters definitely got invested in. Whereas, me and my younger brother/sister haven't been, really.

My sister is older than I by 4 years. Definitely the one who takes all the money.

My mom has actually told me that I'm the one she's betting on. My father doesn't seem to have a preference...

Well my parents are upper-middle class and I only have one sibling. So far they've balanced me and my brother, but they pressure me more for some reason, probably because my brother is a fricken genius.

Not really. I have 3 other sisters. They just divide it up and give us all the same amount of money and equal amount of investing in.

nope. i have two brothers and a sister and i feel like we are all treated equally. i mean, we're all different, so my parents treat us differently, but that's normal. they don't invest in one of us more than the others, no.
