and ive noticed i gained 4lbs, is this normal? i was doing fine on my old diet (without limiting carbs) but now since im on this one, im gaining weight? and i havent changed my working out or anything, just the diet. so does anyone know what may be going on?

Bodies react differently to the food intake. You start eating less, then your body will start taking in all it can from what you do eat, compared to a lot less if you ate a lot of food. Call that metabolism. Your body will adjust to what it thinks is the best thing to do, in this case it might be gaining you some weight for survival reasons.
I suppose it can also have something to do with your environment as well, where your body does different things during certain parts of the year. That is just another thought.
