OH BOY! I'll do an easy one off the top of my head so you can get the idea. Say it's: x^2+4x+y^2+4y=6 To factor it you need the extra term. so in this case, fill in the blanks with the number necessary for you to factor it, what you do to one side you do to the other. x^2+4x+__+y^2+4y+___=6+__+__ x^2+4x+4+y^2+4y+4=14 Then solve. |
