I feel like a failure. I dont have a talent, I drone on about how sad I am, I dont play sports, not that great in school, I have friends (lots), but if given the chance, i dont think any of them would hang out with me.

My parents had me and were excited for a boy and everything. But everything they had wished for in a boy didnt happen. I dont like sports, (I suck), I'm not a ladies man, and I'm really down about it.

My parents divorced YEARS AGO, a while back, and recently I've been feeling sad about it. I'm not masculine, in fact, I'm just really sad alot. I feel like im a pushover...no reason to exist. I dont even feel motivated to do anything anymore.

It sounds like your depressed and just can't find the things good about you, and at the same time I feel like you're lying to yourself. I think you feel pessimistic because you're going through hard times. You;re looking at the bad things and forgetting the good ones. You can't say that there's nothing good about you!!Of course there is. There has to be. We're all different and we all have our talents. I think you haven't looked deep enough and haven't tried everything so you haven't found what you're good at. You say you don't play any sports. Well you could just try playing something. You don't have to be good at it. just something that you have always been interested in. Something that you're curious about and have never tried. How about soccer? Or basketball? Or tennis? Or golf? Or baseball? YOu don't have to be good at them, just try them an if you like them than keep on practicing and I assure you that you will become an expert at whatever you choose. I used to be like that too, but when I started playing tennis, I eventually became good at it and now I play it all the time. Choose something you think suits you best.

There are a lot of teens who feel bad about themselves because they feel like they have disappointed their parents, and I think it's the parents fault in a way for expecting too much out of someone. Tell your parents how you feel and who you are. And just be open about it. You don't have to be a ladies' man. The time will come when you will find someone who is soulmate.Don't go to fast because you might end up with the wrong person and you might hurt someone else's feelings along the way.

The divorce part is not your fault. If you're parents made that decision you must accept it and learn to live with it. There isn't much you can do about it, just be happy that at least you still have them even if they're not together. Everyone has their own opinion of masculinity. People say it's muscles and cuteness, but is it really? Is that what matters in the end? Of course not. It doesn't matter. There's a reason fore evryone to exist!!! We all came here for a reason so don't feel like there is no reason to live. Find your place in life. I hope this motivates you a little.

YOU CAN DO IT!!!!

maybe you should find a sport you like. and you don't have to be a ladies man.  you just need one girl thats right.  i'm kinda the same way with friends.  the thing is your not motivated to be their friend so they probably feel the same way back

i used to be like this.  you have to put in the effort and get nothing back for a long time but once you start trying. eventually people will start trying back.  don't give up.  find something you like and get good at it

A lack of motivation could be what's getting you in this rut in the first place. Just because you weren't born with natural talent does not mean you are talentless. Find something you love and work at being good at it. It's definitely more rewarding than feeling sorry for yourself.
