| Each week, an average of two people try to jump off the Golden Gate Bridge. It's so bad that we have help hotline phones every 100 feet and plain clothes police patrolling. In that case, I think they do the jump because they know that they'll be caught pretty soon. Also, if you jump, you have more control than just a fall, which is giving up on things. |
