If you're here to judge, dont bother reading this. I will like advice if its ok.

I honestly hate my life, wen everything is going good, there's always gotta be someone or something messing it up.

My parents think everything they say is right and whatever anyone else thinks is wrong. This has gotten to the point that I just want to leave my house and never come back, cut every kind of communication with them and forget they ever existed.

I am seventeen years old, and I avg a 90 in school.I dont disrespect my parents, never have. And when I ask for my own space I get shut down. I only have my boyfriend at this point and all of this is really getting to me. I can't wait to go to college, like that I won't be living here anymore, I swear if I have to live under my parents roof for another year, I think I'll shoot myself or runaway to idk where .

Im probably in the same position as you are. except. i rebel against my parents. i have a step dad.. whos an asshole.. my mom listens to EVERYTHING and anything he says. I have a boyfriend.. he's there for me CONSTANTLY. and i know hes not gunna leave.. i have to wait two more years till i get outta the house.. they even made me leave. NDHS.. to be HOMESCHOOLED.. so i dont even have a normal school day to occupy myself with. i have a secret cell phonee.. and NOTHING else. honestly.. try and get a job.. itll at least buy you time out of the house and get your mind off things.. your parents probably want so much out of you.. which is stupid all theyre doing is driving you away.. when youre 18.. itd be BEST to leave the house.. after a while of away from home.. things should clear up between you and your parents.. but make sure they dont try judging you or trying to still control you.. if they do that.. then just stay away for a little longer.. its just one more year... seems like a lifetime. but itll go by fast.. and just see your boyfriend.. spend time with him and with friends... stay the night at your friends houses to be out more. any opportunity.. TAKE it '') lol. dont worry though. just try to avoid them as much as you can.

I can relate to that a little. I have felt that way before. I have felt like there's no reason to live with my parents anymore. It gets me really annoyed and at the same time I just wish they would understand but sometimes it looks like they never will. We all want a perfect life, but a perfect life needs problems and challenges, which will make us stronger and will also make us wiser. They're essential to our existence. There are always good and bad things.

There isn't really anything you can do about the situation, although there are a few things you could try. For example you could try an talk to your parents about the situation. Talk to them seriously and honestly. Tell them to listen to you, and tell them how you feel about the whole situation. Tell them what you think is wrong and make suggestion to how things could be better. What things do you suggest they should do? Try reaching a compromise. Some of the things you do might actually be wrong, but I assure you that they have made mistakes as well. We all do because we are all human. So really just talk about it with them, and don't feel afraid of it. They are your parents after all. They should be someone whom you can trust and confide in. You shouldn't run away because you're not old enough to support yourself yet, and I think it would make your parents really sad because they have feelings too you know. Just talk and see what happens.

At least you have your boyfriend who is there for you. Just try to be happy about the good things and take care of the bad things as best as you can.  There's always a way to solve your problems, and I'm sure you will find this. I really hope that your situation gets a lot better.

Well, since you're 17, it's not running away. If you don't like it, then go ahead and leave. Of course I suspect that you probably still need those horrible parents to keep paying your bills, feeding you, providing your computer so you can come here and bitch about them; oh yeah, and pay for that college you're so looking forward to going to.

I can totally understand what you're feeling, because I'm goig through something similar. Albeit, I'm sure situations are different.

All I can say is stick it out. You don't have much longer til you move out. Focus on something. Your boyfriend. School. A hobby. Something. Get a job? Then you can save to move out.

It would be advised to not do anything rash. Just try to calm down and focus. *smiles* It worked for me. I got a job and became a workaholic.

us young kids always think this but when we get older most of us understand why our parents did this
