i feel like self-injuring, but i don't want to, cuz i promised my therapist i wouldn't cut again and it's been 2 months since i cut last.
i'm just so mad because of stuff happening at work tonight that ticked me off.
i need somebody to talk to because i don't know what to do

usually i just start to write,listen to music,or talk to friends bout somethin completly different

Don't cut yourself honey I feel like doing this everyday but I found something that really takes my interest in go take classes for something you love and want to be or start your own hobby and sell that made me feel like cutting less you'll be alright I'm here for you

Well at least you did say that you did not want to cut, which is a good thing. First of all you don't want to because you know self-harming is bad and can lead to death itself. So don't cut. You don't want to, why should you? Don't cut, it's not worth it. You're body is something that you have to keep healthy, and a live for as long as possible. Don't harm yourself! Be one less person who cuts

If you are angry, then don't take it out on yourself. Figure out the motive of your anger and deal with it. Try to take out the anger on other stuff. You could practice a sport, or something that will help you take out all your energy. Go for a walk and relax. Maybe take a bath and just relax. Try writing what you feel angry about and leave it there on the paper, don't take it with you. Write it down and then burn it as a symbol that you have now taken out all your anger and that it isn't inside you any longer. Don't keep it there because it will become too heavy and you're gonna end up taking it out the wrong. So express it out in anyway you can and any way you like. You could make a song about it, anything that you like doing and tha will express your anger so that you can get rid of it.

try not to, take out your anger on something else like sport (running) or scream into your pillow or somthing like that

As always since I last managed to look at your topic, you should spend a bit of time to cool off . . You can always share about whats goin on here, if u'r uncomfortable , its always possible to pm . .  You don't say much in your posts, and its really hard to know whats going on . . .

Hey, sunshinegirl7189. Please, please, please do not cut, okay? It's good that you don't want to cut, but still having the urge to may send a couple of bad signals.  I know you said you don't want to cut because your therapist said that you shouldn't, and they're right, but eventually, you're gonna have to refrain from cutting because you realise that it's only helping yourself.

Whenever something bad happens, try to find another way to cope with it.  Personally, I think that writing is a wonderful tool to just lay all of your feelings out on the line, and it is a wonderful stress relief.  Cutting is only a temporary relief, you must realise this. And if you don't stop, then things are only going to get worse from here. I know the workplace can be a stressful area, but since you frequent that place, you must find other ways to cut or else you're going to erase all of the progress you've made with your therapist. And kudos for even having a therapists because most people are afraid to take that step or even admit that they have a problem.

try looking at a picture of blood and snapping your arm with a rubber band, it works for me
