My friend is talking a lot about how people dont understand all the stuff shes been through. And they really dont. But i want to be able to. I want to help her get over all the jerk guys shes been with. I want her to be able to love herself instead of hate herself and call herself beautiful. But when she talks i dont know what to say. i cant be supportive, my mind just blanks. i feel so useless

is there anything at all i can do to help, anything i can try?

i love her and i really want her happy

Just tell her when she says that you don't understand say "yes, thats true i don't understand but why don't you help me understand." Say that you are always here if she needs somebody to talk to. Just be a supportive friend.
