I've not been feeling like myself lately and just feel like I hate the world and almost everyone in it. What are the signs of depression?

You feel there is no end to a winding path of unhappiness, hate and pain and you feel no-one understands you. You start to isolate yourself, shut yourself off from the outside world and bottle things up inside... There's a lot more to it but if you feel anything like what I've said then please talk to someone before it's to late.
