I want to stop cutting, seriously. I have scars on my legs, arms, and stomach. I've had enough. I actually haven't cut in over a month, and before that it had been many months.

My problem is that it still crosses my mind. I did it for four years, so I know I can't just put it down and forget.

But, fuck, I'm tired of it!

I saw a girl who had scars on her arm, then one day gauze, and it's so fucking triggering. Every time I see her I want to be like "So, how did you get away with that living in the dorms and all?"

Well, I know you can't just stop something that you've been doing or so long, It's like smoking and the nicotine is pain. I also know that these emotions can't stay bottled up. If you ever need any one to talk to, PM me. And if it's not me you'd like to talk to, maybe a close friends, parents, someone you trust. I wish you the best of luck and hope to be hearing from you soon.

To all the people who say it's "easy" and to "just stop".

Shove it.

You have not the slightest idea what it's like. Cutting yourself once or twice because your boyfriend broke up with you or mommy told you to clean your room doesn't mean you know what it's like to be ADDICTED. There's a fucking difference.

PM me if you want to know how to get your cutting under control.  I finally do, and it's great.  It's easier than you may think.
Silver Shinigami Posted at 2:10 pm on Sep. 30, 2008
if you want to stop then stop and don't start any of that it's too hard crap. Find a strong willed person and have them check your arm,legs...etc. if you want to stop then stop.
