One of lifes greatest paradoxes is that the more people you surround yourself with, the lonlier you become. Make sure you engage in good conversation daily, talk to new people as often as you can, and most of all, don't hife your feelings. If your living a lie, it doesn't matterhow many "friends" you have, you will always always be lonely.

Physical proximity means little in terms of actual happiness.

That would explain why you are in lw to begin with. That topic title was a bit melodramatic in my book... Try opening up to people. Just like you can feel lonely in a crowd, you can feel warm and the presence of those you love when you are alone. the choice is ultimately yours.

Do you have a boyfriend? That could change things. But I do know how you feel. My girlfriend lives 4 House away from me And I don't live with my parents. I live in my own 1 bedroom apartment And to top it off, all my friends live in Sault Ste Marie (Which is 10 hours away from me). So right now, all my life consists of is work, sleep and eat.
