i cut myslef again last night, and i haven't done it in a couple months. i need to talk about it and why i did it, but when i talk to my guidance counselor or the school counselor, or if a teacher sees it and reports it, then i get sent home. i really need to talk to the school counselor, though. i don't want to get sent home, but i know that if i keep it inside, then i'll end up hurting myself worse later. i've missed almost 15 days of school, and i can't miss anymore right now. it's only the 11th week of school. HELP!

Seems like your peers instead of helping you, they are just ignoring your problem. That is no way of dealing with your problem. When ever you tell them about you cutting, how do you say it? Do you look depressed, worried? It really depends on how you carry yourself. They might think that you are just insane, crazy.

You can try calling them over the phone. That way they are listening to your problem, instead of looking at you. That would help out a lot. Why don't you try talking your parents about, if you don't live your parents. You can also try another family member someone who you are comfortable talking to.

Remember your school counselor is supposed to help you out, in your time of crisis. If he/she is not there job you can report them. The worst that you can do is just keep that inside of you. Let it out have someone know about your problem.

Best of luck to you.

There's a thing where you put a rubberband on your wrist, and if you even think about it, you snap it... eventually the need to cut will seem inferior to the pain of the snapping rubber band

it's not the pain that i thrive off of, it's the blood, and the site of the cuts and scars. it has nothing to do with pain.

Okay, then the need to see the blood will seem dumb for the snapping of the rubber band... either way it works if you stick it out.

what i'm looking for right now is how to get out of getting sent home, not how to stop cutting. i can worry about that later. right now i need to not get sent home.

The way to stop getting sent home IS to stop cutting. Wear long sleeves and just talk to the councillor on your break or something?
