and it wasn't that big, it just brought back a lot of traumatic memories when i've been in car accidents in the past.

and you'd think after 5 or so years i would of gotten over them but i guess i really haven't.
so now i'm sitting here and i can't stop crying from all these painfully damaging memories and i don't know what to do. today has been such a horrible day and i wish i had someone to talk to that could understand.
+ people are making things worse and i really just don't know what to do.

is it normal that these memories are coming back?
and that they are so terrifying?

I've lost three people due to accidents, I know what you mean by tramatic memories.  They are very hard to deal with...

What happened in your situation?  I don't know your past to help understand your reaction to accidents.

My mom got hit by a driver who wasn't watching the lights.  She is still traumatized by it...
I also have friends that have been through a lot of accidents as well.
so yes it is perfectly normal and understandble to be still affected by these painful memories.

I hate to say this cause I know everyone else will say this but if it has been 5 years you should really talk to a pro about it.

Hope things work out for you

Have you ever seen a psychologist/councilor about it?
