I start gym this trimester, and for the past week I have been really worried about this. I am not the skinniest, most athletic person. I really hate having to run and do gym class in front of all of these really athletic people. But the problem is; because I hate it so much that it's making so nervous that I feel sick. I get embarrassed having to be in shorts and a t-shirt. I have been really trying to lose weight so I wouldn't be so worried over how I look. Since school has started I have lost 9lbs. But I still hate how I look. Any ways I could get over this?

Is gym compulsory? How much longer do you have to take it?

I am constantly ridiculed for being too skinny. I have no advice for you, but keep working on it and love yourself. I take gym class shirtless to prove to them I do not mind what they think.

kool u do gym shirtless, i did 2 it just feels better

I have never been really worried about this, but last year my old bf was in my class, and I found out he was making fun of me (not to mention he broke up with me because people made fun of me). And then 3rd trimester of PE my new bf was in my class (he isnt this year though -- neither of them are).. but still :-\ I wish there was some way I could get out of doing gym

When I was in gym class, way back in the day... there were as far as I can remember at least eight of the kids were entirely apathetic and not atheletic and no one made fun of them, so you should be fine.

Not everyone will be athletic. I'm sure there will be at least several people like yourself. Don't worry about it.

Uhm... if you don't mind saying, what is your current weight / height?
