I worry constantly about things I shouldn't.... I think it is due to having such a lack of self confidence. I constantly worry about whether my boyfriend's parent like me or not. Or now that I'm home if my friends are ignoring me or just don't want to hangout with me. I don't know I just know that this really needs to stop, I can't continue to consume myself in these thoughts that bring me down.

I just can never stop worrying. How can I stop this and how can I build up my self confidence?

I've had the same problem for a long time now, and still do. The best advice I can give you is to try and find reasons for liking yourself. I found it works to try and look at the big picture instead of the small details. That's really what everyone is going for.

I'm sure your friends wouldn't be your friends if they didn't like you. Try not to be paranoid about your friends not liking you, because they have other friends and I'm sure are trying to do the best they can. If it helps, try and about the moments where your friends have went out of the way to be kind for you. This'll help you know that your friends care about you, and aren't ditching you.

If you have problems with your appearance, don't worry. When it comes to friendship, real friends don't care what you look like. Remember that your boyfriend obviously finds you attractive and that you are beautiful inside and out. There are more reasons to like yourself then you might think. It's just that some people take these reasons for granted.

Don't worry about your boyfriend's parents either. I'm sure they like you! Don't feel like you have to be perfect for them. Just be yourself, and be as kind and polite as possible. I'm sure if you are, they are quite fond of you!

You and that personthere *points*.
You have paranoia,(I know this for I am a severly fuked up little child witha  lot of randomthings wring with me) Paranoia is severley hard to deal with but you should see someone about it but If ur doing that for the love of christ see a pshycatrist and not a counseller.
Asfor selfconfidence, that too takes a lot of time, butyouhave to just take time out, relax and focuson what makes you feel better andspend more time doing those things.
XxXx.

Don't worry, unless you are mean and enjoy being an asshole, then you have nothing to worry about. I am sure your not a bad person, and that even though it may seem like it, people do like you, and your friends do care about you. Just believe in yourself.

if you send out a vibe that you have no confidence then people will think you are unattractive because of it
