But telling yourself your stupid for doing it, isn't going to help, its just going to make you feel lower and give you even more reason to cut. You've been dealing with this for quite some time by the sounds of it, what was it that made you first start? Is it still a problem? or are you just caring on on cutting because it has become a natural thing to do now? Whatever it may be, don't loose hope. Because I'm sure as hell whatever the reason for you still cutting is, you CAN over come it. Yes, it may take time but its possible. Its time you took control of the situation, don't tell me you can't because you CAN, you just need help fighting this demon off. You need to think of the reasons as to why your doing it, write them down, type them out on the computer. Make not of every single problem you have a deal with them one by one. Have you got someone to talk to? someone who can help you through this? Your not alone, even if you feel you have nobody to turn too. There are plenty of people out there who are willing to help you and give you advice. I'm one of them, just PM me if you want to talk about this, and I'll be there, nobody wants to you doing this to yourself, its not a healthy way to deal with things, no matter how hard things seem, there is a better way than this. As I have already said, you need to look at the reasons why your doing it, until you assess these reasons, you won't be able to over come them. Most of the time, our problems play on our mind and we let them have a greater effect on us than they actually should do. I don't know your situation, I don't know why you do it, but there must be a reason. Otherwise you wouldn't be doing it. Keep yourself busy, the more time you have on your hands the more time you are going to have to think about the problems your facing, and often make them appear a lot more daunting that they actually are. Get yourself out of the house, meet friends, talk to someone. You can't let yourself go through this alone. The longer this goes on the harder it is going to be to stop, because after a while cutting becomes a habit, not just a way to deal with problems, but because its addictive. You need to deal with this sooner rather than later. I'm here, to talk too. I know how terrible this must be making you feel, but something must be done.
