I smoke weed.[/quote] FAQ Keyword Search: Post Options Favorites Manager Notify me of new replies to this topic by email Notify me of new replies to this topic by private message Original Post Anonymous Posted at 4:16 pm on Jan. 5, 2009 i work with this girl who is like 35 years old, has 3 kids, and has scars (obviously) from cutting. im not sure if she still does. but i know she is still depressed alot. she often has to take long periods of time off work to deal with "depression stuff". im a cutter too. iv been doing it for 8 years now am not stopping. i cant tell if i cant stop because i dont want to. or if i dont want to stop because i know i cant. i have no insurance nor would i feel comfortable talking with anyone. my parents know nothing of anything, nor do i want them to. at work i always wear long sleeves or arm warmers, so im pretty sure noone but my bf knows. and i live thousands of miles away from my family. well. when i see her scars (she does not hide them; for what reason i have no idea), i think of mine, and that i am going to have to keep them hidden the rest of my life. i think of how messed up she is mentally. i dont want to be that old and still be at an emotional standstill of depression. when i think of her, it makes me want to die so i dont have to end up like her. i dont quite know what to do about anything.. i just know i dont want to end up like her. the other problem is, im moving back to my birth state where my family is around summer. and where i am now its always cold so its easy to cover my cuts and scars. but where im moving back to, its very hot all but 3 or so months out of the year. how can i keep them hidden?
