I, without a legitimate reason, exposed myself to thousands of people. Now I have anxiety to show my face to even just 3 people. I didn't get nude in front of everyone. I just walked out in front of that many people. Lots of eyes on me... Wearing terrible clothes... I've ruined my highschool years 6 years before they even started. My sister recorded a trick of me doing the splits on cam to her whole... whatever class it was for. Now people will think I'm gay... That is if I get that teacher, and they remember, or they show it as an example. ;_; My underdeveloped masculine voice makes people think I'm gay already. But I'm not. When I think of the memories, I scream without sound. Mental anguish is occurring. I can't figure out why. This is not a suicide note. Nor will I be committing suicide later. I just need help. I need someone to help me figure out how I'm going to deal with high school. It's not something I can easily deal with, but to you it's probably so simple that you think my reasoning is stupid.

Replies TheClassic Posted at 1:23 am on July 6, 2009 I'm in college and one of my roommates from last year was able to do the splits, is highly into fashion, and has some qualities that would make you think he could be gay, but he's not.  He's into girls.  Now he is a great and hilarious person, fun to be around.  Just because he does a few feminine things doesn't make anyone think less of him.  People always want to be around him.  Just because there are a few things about you that aren't masculine like society tells you to be, doesn't mean your whole highschool life is ruined.  Take one thing at a time - sure you did the splits, it means you're flexible.  Think of a cool football player type guy who could do the splits - he could play it off like he was hot stuff for doing so.  If you don't act hurt by people mentioning it, and play off it, you should be fine. Mindwalker Posted at 10:33 pm on July 5, 2009 First thing I want to let you in on, is nothing lasts forever, and even if you enter high school with a rep you aren't happy with, it can be changed, it will take some work but it can be changed. The thing about growing up is you get to choose who you want to be, and let me tell you something, you can let people rag on you or you can roll with it, and do things, little things to improve your life. You're voice for one will change,  you might be late for that part of puberty but it will change all the same. Also the thing about the splits, I know it worries you but please try not to stress over it. I've known people, popular kids in school, with their own share of bad childhood experiences, there are always ways to spin it. Just say you were into gymnastics, or martial arts, people buy that stuff. As for the clothes, get a new wardrobe, problem solved, seriously. A big change and people just go "wow, he certainly got hot" because people care about who you are now, not who you were, we all go through stages and you'll go through plenty more before you even hit the end of high school. Remember to take it one day at a time, one task at a time, and when it seems rough, and you want to give up...Hold on, it will get better, just hold on. cutie2 Posted at 1:36 am on July 4, 2009 Has anything actually happened yet? Are you in highschool now, are people attacking you about this issue? I'm a bit confused about what you did. You walked out in front of people in bad clothes... and you did the splits and your sister showed the video to her class? Things move so fast at highschools, it's unlikely people will remember. If they do... laugh it off, or just roll your eyes. If it looks like you don't care, they won't get satisfaction from dwelling on it. They have too many other things to think about. How old are you? Voices mature at different ages. One guy I knew still had a high voice when he was about 16. People got used to it. Years later he had a very deep voice.
