The new disorder has gotten progressively more severe over the last year. It isn't as frustrating as the OCD, but I'm worried that I could lose my grasp on reality or morality if it continues to progress.
I would very much prefer to avoid seeing a shrink. I had an unforgivable experience with one as a child. I really, really never want to see one again, and not just for rational reasons. It borders on a phobia. Can neuroleptics be prescribed by anyone else?
I'm also considering marijuana or some other drug that doesn't require a prescription...

How is that different from seeing a psychologist? Don't I still have to sit alone in a room with the psychiatrist and 'talk about my feelings?' doing drugs such as marijuana may oly make it worse. OCD sucks... Go to your local doctor/GP?? or try another shrink... not all shrinks are the same...
