Livewire's Depression and Emotional Imbalance forum is a place for you to give and receive support. Nobody's problems are insignificant.
- Encouraging harm or killing of self/others (in this forum, it is never a joke) - your post will be removed and you may receive an informal or formal warning. - Posts that do not offer any support, sympathy or advice - Flaming (posting merely to insult or degrade a person) - this is a common cause of serious topics having to be locked. Don't participate in flame-wars! - Telling somebody that they are seeking attention (attention-seeking is a problem in itself and does not mean someone doesn't need help) - Telling somebody that their problems are insignificant, or that they should just be tougher - Details about methods of injury or suicide (this can be considered tip-sharing) - Replying to or quoting inappropriate posts, even if you are defending someone (report it, instead)

Well I obviously read it and it does make alota sense. People are here for advice and opinions, not criticism or rudness.
I agree
please can there be a rule against tip-sharing? one particular thread that's active at the moment, although a lot of people have been quite cautious with their replies, many others have shared exact methods they used when attempting suicide, medications etc. i don't have a problem with general talk around the subject, i think it's helpful for people not to have to hide things they've done, but i don't think it's necessary to say "I ODed on *****". everyone knows about potential ways of committing suicide biut i think it can do a lot of harm sharing the specifics. would it be possible to do soemthing about this?
We are talking about it right now :)
