Replies birdymmy Posted at 1:12 am on July 19, 2012 I have one very true friend in this entire world. He has been there since before I can even remember. We literally grew up together from infancy. He is not related to me by blood. He knows everything about me and loves me so much I can see it in his eyes. He is fiercely protective and it hurts him to talk about things that have hurt me because I know that he'd kill the person that hurt me if I gave him a name. Point said, I still always ache for another friend. For he is far away and I don't see him often. I think friends are people that can be there even when they aren't actually There. I think they do exist and are very hard to come by. Friends are people that can comfort you with or without words and tell you the truth even if its something you'd rather not hear. Real friends see your flaws and all your characteristics and accept you for you. They aren't a myth, but I've come to find that its just hard to find people like that anymore. But there are some good people out there still.
