Talk to him fce to face, it is always better to talk to someone face to face, give him the chance to speak and then you'll know where you stand - whether to wait for him or not. Why do you only see him Mondays? I know you're hurting right now - I have been where you are, you just have to take it as it comes, whether it turns out how you want it to or not, could you still be friends with him if he doesn't like you? And would you? Being friends is hard, but if you manage to maintain a friendship after something like that, then maybe, just maybe, one day he will see you as more than a friend if you choose to stick around him, by him even. Good luck, ask him Monday - face to face, rather than technology is far better for conversations like these.
